Re: Driveline vibration after K member install

Yes, they are maxed in the negative direction. Being that my engine angle has changed so has the trans angle, so trying to get the front u joint to match the angle of the rear joint is near...

Good morning all!
I have been chasing a driveline vibration for quite a while, and I think it has to do with my engine sitting differently since installing a QA1 k member. I welcome any input. So...

Re: Nitrous install questions

Re: Nitrous install questions

The tach adapter makes life easy for the window switch install. I used a tach adapter for my MSD window switch and my shift light.
As far as jet sizes, I have no clue. I used a Compucar kit.
I...

Re: Intake manifold porting

Roys ported stock runner length on my car showed a 4 mph increase in the 1/4 mile. I really like the way the car pulls down low. Once I get a nice set of blower cams, im sure itll pull hard up top as...

Re: Compression for Vortech?

I put down 610 rwhp with an Sci trim at 10 pounds of boost with 10.7:1 compression. Your torque numbers should be higher with more compression too.

Re: SLP loudmouth 1 catback

I have a complete, unmolested stock cat back system. I also have a very nice Mac Cat back that I would be willing to trade. Let me know.

PM Roy on this site. He can get a spacer to you relatively quickly. See my response to your PM re going regarding the V3 dipstick.

Re: Vortech Cutting Hole in shaker

If you have an intake spacer, you dont need to modify your shaker. I finished the install of my V3 SCi and there is plenty of clearance with a 3/8 spacer.

Which Sending Unit to use?

I installed a Kurgan fuel hat in my Mach as part of a power adder upgrade. I bought a fuel sending unit for an 03 cobra. I took the guts out of my stock tank so everything would fit nicely. Now my...

Re: getting everything together for the vortech. Is this a good route?

I did a similar setup. I did a V3 SCi trim with 60 lb injectors with aeromotive rails. I also went with a dual 340 lph torker pumps, a Kurgan billet fuel hat and a full return style system. I also...

Re: spark plug gap on supercharged DOHC 4.6

My setup might be a little different. I'm running a V3 SCi trim at 10 pounds. My compression is 11.0:1. I'm running a BR8ES NGK gapped at .025". I was able to put down 540 rwhp and 480 lb ft torque...
