Re: Overheated after coolant flush - Very Upset!

Dealer #1 said that the car never actually overheated. I didn't trust them so I had the car flatbeded to dealer #2 where they inspected the engine with a borescope and ran a compression test. ...

Re: 2004 Screeming Yellow Auto 7000 miles Allen Park, Michigan

It would be very hard for me to let this car go for under $19k, considering the condition and number of units made/potential collector value. I spent 1k on it last summer when I had ALL of the...

I have an original beauty that I am thinking about selling this spring if the offer is right $. The car is in MINT CONDITION and is one of only 139 screeming yellow autos made! Everything is...

Re: car burnt today.....:(:(:(:(

I heard from a fire fighter that car fires blaze for about 15 minutes then the car is totally gone. You can watch plenty of them on YouTube.

Re: Overheated after coolant flush - Very Upset!

Do our cars have any kind of protection against cooling system failure other then the analog temp gauge in the cluster, like a limp home mode, or anything like that? It would seem very foolish for...

Re: Mach 1 to return for 2016 ??

Oh no, our cars are definitely special. Old school muscle, nothing like the new cars. At least I say that coming out of a new 2013 Focus ST. I notice a big difference! Im not bashing the Focus, I...

Re: car burnt today.....:(:(:(:(

Sorry to hear about your loss. That really sucks! My mach overheated after the dealer flushed the coolant on Saturday and I have already lost a couple nights sleep just over that. I'm still...

Overheated after dealer coolant flush - Very Upset!

My Mach is a stock garage queen with only 6300 miles. I decided to take it to the Ford dealer where I bought it from to have all of the fluids changed because the car has spent a lot of time sitting...

Re: Gears - to answer the questions once and for all

No problem, I have heard that one too, especially on older cars.

Re: Gears - to answer the questions once and for all

I am very surprised that there was no mention about the harmonic driveshaft balancing issue at high speeds with the automatic mach/police interceptor. It is/was a very well known issue! I'm sure...

Re: Is steering wheel feedback normal when applying the brakes?

Thanks for the response. It would be most noticable without driving the car, just sitting still with the car running and putting a little pressure on the steering wheel while pumping the brakes. If...

Re: Is steering wheel feedback normal when applying the brakes?

I dont actually have to turn the wheels. Even if I just put some tension on the steering wheel without turning the wheels I can feel major interference in the steering wheel when I pump the brakes. ...

Re: Is steering wheel feedback normal when applying the brakes?

It's not the rotors. The car would have to be moving for that. This is completly different. I can feel some kind of interference/loss of power sterring assist when applying the brakes, even with...

Is steering wheel feedback normal when applying the brakes?

I don't drive my car much but I can feel feedback in the steering wheel when applying the brakes. It is very noticable when the car is not moving, while holding a little pressure on the wheel and...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a 2011 V6 Mustang!

It's a very quick and good handling car with impressive MPG's/cruising range.

I just ordered a Race Red V6 auto pony package with everything except the glass roof on Friday for use as a daily...

Re: Who Could Out Run A New Camaro Ss

I just watched about 10 real life drag races of the new 2010 Camero SS on youtube, and they are just not running good numbers for having that much HP! Mid to high 13's at best!

Re: Who Could Out Run A New Camaro Ss

I guess that makes sense-400HP! Also, most magazines and TV programs had our Mach's running high 13's. The same thing is probably happening to the new Camero, but from reading on here it sound's...

Re: Who Could Out Run A New Camaro Ss

Motorweek television ran a new SS on the track today and it pulled a 0-60 in 5.0 seconds, and a 1/4 mile of 13.3 with a manual transmission. Pretty much neck and neck with my basically stock AUTO...
