Re: Help deciding on an exhaust

I'd agree with others on going with an H pipe instead of an X in order to get the deeper tone. For what it's worth, you might even consider the Borla Stingers. Of course I'm partial to them as...

Re: 12th annual Crab Run

Nice! Sounds like a good time to me. Let me know the location and I will try to make it.

Re: 12th annual Crab Run

What's this crab run all about, any details. I'm in MD and might be able to make it.

Re: 17x10.5 Tire choice

Is it safe to assume that a DR will be ok for street cornering, I'm not thinking autocross cornering. I just want to make sure I'm not going to slide off the road when I decide to take a turn.

Re: 17x10.5 Tire choice

I think I'm leaning more towards the NT05Rs now. From the responses it seems that will still give me cornerning when I need it, but good straight line. Thanks to all who posted. And I still...

Re: 17x10.5 Tire choice

I appreciate everyone's replies. I'll look into the Nitto Extreme and the Coopers.

So, next question. What is the optimal size for the 17x10.5s? Is it 315/35/17 (diameter is close to stock, so...

17x10.5 Tire choice

I'm looking for great straight line and cornering traction. What does everyone think between the Nitto NT555Rs Drag Radial and Nitto NT05s?

Size will be 315/35/17s. I don't drive the Mach in the...

Re: Emissions and a tuner

Looks like I might just have to ask my tuner to modify one of my tunes to have the rears turned on then. Thanks for the reply.

Emissions and a tuner

Here's my dilemma. IL emissions plugs into your OBDII port and I believe searches for any codes that have been thrown. Do you think their software will be able to know if the back O2s are turned...

Re: The Official MISSOURI Thread

I'm about 25 miles east of St. Louis on the Illinois side, not East St.Louis though.
Actually, I'm going to pose a question you guys that I will post in the exhaust thread, but figured I'd ask here...

Re: BBK Long tube ceramic headers or maybe Hookers

From my research people said you would have to loosen up the passenger side header to remove the tranny, but I honestly don't know.

Per the weld splatter, I didn't have to clean mine up because...

Re: BBK Long tube ceramic headers or maybe Hookers

From what I hear and have read Kooks are all around a great and if not the best longtube header. As for me though I couldn't justify the cost of them, so I settled for the BBKs. I've been extremely...

Re: It's Christmas today!!!

Man that looks great. Is your car lowered at all, I can't tell? Do you have any angle shots of one side, showing both the front and back in the same picture. And again, great looking Mach.

Re: Daily Driver: Stingers or Magnaflow?

I'm also for the Stingers. I drove mine on a 12 hour drive and could carry on a conversation and enjoyed every minute of it. That was when I had the stock mid pipe.

When I had the longtubes...

Re: Exhaust question??

Good choice. If you want to hear what the stingers sound like with LTs and an H let me know. Once April or May comes around and the car comes back out, we can meet up.

Re: Gas mileage....

Depends on how heavy your right foot is. My last highway trip (constant 4hrs) back from my tuner I got 29. Driving around town can range between 18-25, because it all depends on how you drive it. ...

Re: Is a Catback system enough alone?

I ran the stingers for about 8 months and loved the sound as it was. When I got my longtubes installed I went with a new H pipe. And there is quite a bit difference now. I enjoyed the first setup,...

Re: got tuned today.

That's where my tuner set mine. He said that he would rather it be 12.6-12.8 for NA applications. I haven't gotten mine on the dyno yet though. We tuned mine on the road.

Re: Update-Shelby GT/new wheels

In my opinion I think the black shelbys should have come with polished wheels, instead of the black. Yours looks great!! I drove a white with grey that I was on the fence about. Nice cars.

Re: IL Machs

I'll try to find some more. I know there is a thread around here somewhere where I posted 3 picks of it. It's just a matter of finding it.

By the way, I'm not positive if I am going or not,...
