Re: Eaton Full Kit For Sale

Yep. Even with stock pulley ratio, the torque is amazing.

Re: Intake spacer effect on shaker height

Good points! That reminds me that I have two seals available. It's possible the older one will work better with the spacer.

I'll try to remember to post the results once the motor is back in the...

Re: Intake spacer effect on shaker height

Yup! Lol. My son is going to daily drive this thing so we need it stockish.

I just run without the seal on the other car, but it only comes out in nice weather. The shaker is on brackets on the...

Intake spacer effect on shaker height

With an MMR 1/2" spacer does the hood seal get pretty tight? I used to run a 3/8" spacer on my other Mach and I slotted the rear shaker bracket holes to bring the shaker back close to the stock...

Re: 10R80 And Rear End Gears?

A few months has gone by since your post...what did you end up doing?

You lived out here in the west previously, right? It's been awhile but I think we had some good times at the tracks if my...

Driveshaft Groove

I'm working on my black '03 and I noticed that the driveshaft has a "groove" formed into it. I am pretty sure it was made this way but I want to verify that. It's about 1/4" wide and 1/8" deep. It's...

Cobra Cams on Exhaust Side?

This seems like an idea. You only gain a few degrees compared to the factory exhaust cams but if you understand the concepts involved to get them times correctly, it might be fun and worthy of doing....

Re: Automatic Transmission Fluid Change

Good info in that last (old I know) post.
Slomach03, what was the outcome for you?
I think the EPC solenoid took a dump...or did the trans need a rebuild?

Re: How Much Power Can Mach 1 Auto Transmission Handle?

Good info here. Generally I think they are a very decent trans. I have rebuilt a few 4r70s and added minor upgrades with good results. They are very straightforward to work on.

One issue I've had...

Re: Q's for anyone familiar with painting cars

Sounds like you already have the skills and tools for this!
I've done some painting but while you await the experts a couple things cross my mind:
- What is brands/stores are available local to...

Stoked - Another Mach in the Stable

Just dragged home a black auto 2003 car for my son. I always wondered what an automatic Mach would be like. Not bad!! :hail1:

Anyway it drove OK but was little rough. 134k on her. Luckily the...

Re: cylinder head cooling mod

I assume it would since they have the same castings, unless you find a late 2004 or 2005 Aviator; those should have the "DC" heads which are supposedly have better cooling.

After I lifted a ring...

Re: cylinder head cooling mod

I've always wondered if the cooling mod really has any basis in fact or is one of the biggest myths in DOHC Mustangs. Aviator engines have the heater connection on the drivers side and they still...
