if anyone runs into this again the "notched" 31 spline cross shaft is aval from Ford, part # is F87Z-4211-AA and suggested list is $44.00.......

there should be a @3x5 white sticker in/on the driverside door jamb and in the upper left-hand corner of that certification label should be the day-date-month that the car was built, or you can PM...

make sure you re-attach the upper stamped steel brkt, as it serves as the contact point for the rear pinion snubber:3amin:

iirc the part # is F88Z-9F472-EA and these are the Big Barrel Bosch/Motorcraft ones wth @a22"...

well, yes and no....the Ford GT(40) uses 2 different lash adjusters....
on the Exhaust side, it uses a F77Z-6500-AB, which is also used on the 4.0 SOHC engines and on the Intake side it's a...

Phil, another good choice for an oem follower is the GT(40) follower, part # 4G7Z-6564-AA, seems some of my engine building customers prefer it over the F8AZ-6564-AA "standard" follower....
