Re: Procahrger D1sc
A 3.4 pulley on a D1SC made 14 psi with stock Mach1 heads cams, & intake on mine with an 8 rib by 6000 RPM, and about 18 by 6600 RPM or so.
It maxed out at 14 psi (6000 RPM) with a 6 rib belt.

Re: Traded the Mach in today
Traitor!
Just kidding!
Very nice.
Maybe it's just me, but if I had 2 sports cars, what is the sense of having 2 similar Mustangs. After all, variety is the spice of life.

Re: 20" Bullitts
18x10 rear with 285/40/18 (27.1" tall)
18x9 front with 255/40/18 (26.1"tall)
I have raised the rear about an inch since these pictures. The car actually sat level but it looked low in the rear...

Re: 18x9" / 18x10" Bullitt Owners
Oh, OK, I was just poking a little. Your first statement didn't make sense to me, since there are thousands of Mustangs running around with those wheels as examples to look at before one buys a set....

Re: 18x9" / 18x10" Bullitt Owners
Really, IMO you shouldn't modify a Mach 1, or even drive it for that matter. Stuff it in the garage. Keep the mileage down to a couple hundred miles a year, and sell it when you retire.

Re: Linemup Daily Driver Tune
Oh, Yeah, right!
Then just give me your car to eliminate the endless, limitless guilt you must be feeling, cause I am 100% worthy of any amount of rediculous HP, Torque, 1/4 mile times, 60 ft...

Re: You Guys Will Hate Me Now. But I Like It
That picture doesn't scare me. I built my short block too, so I've seen that view. Really, nothing to it. Read a lot, have the specs on hand, take your time, & measure everything twice. I usually...

Re: You Guys Will Hate Me Now. But I Like It
O c'mon... The 1955 Chev was 265 cu inch 2 barrel with points and a condensor, and about 25% of the HP. 07 Corvette has electronic fuel injection, a crankshaft driven oil pump, a computer, etc, etc,...

Re: You Guys Will Hate Me Now. But I Like It
Oh... let me take a stab at this one.
"The Mach 1 is essentially a re-skined LS1 with a re-cammed gen IV small block Chevy"
That would be "more wrong":D
Depends on your perspective. Fact...
