So my 500 mile review. The carbon syncros kinda work too good for normal street driving imho, they are kinda clunky below 3k rpms but still work amazing at 7k rpm no blockouts yet no double...

I got lucky. No bearings they were in great shape
$20 bucks speedo ring used on my origional trans
199 for carbon syncros and brass fork pads

Yes all new bearings and syncros, the trans was a basket case that i got for parts.... then i got bored on ebay.... lol yes i did it my self, not my first manual just first tremec.

So the carbon syncros and the torco fluid seems to work great so far no block out yet at 7k shifts.

Overall they look good. The valve cover could use resealing and maybe valveseals but i dont think thats your issue.

Coils typically break down in the heat.

The oil looks like it is from the valve covers leaking the plug itself looks good. Dose the car have high milage. I am guessing here but you may have a build up of oil in the bottom of the intake...

Hold it on the pilot bearing.. pack it with grease then use a dowel drift etc. That is the same diameter as the pilot id. I have also used a socket turned backwards on a extension. And and hit it...

I pulled the trigger on the mtf fluid. It according to the data sheets its thinner than syncromesh but thicker than atf so right down the middle. We shall see.
