Re: IAC not reading after Eaton swap
I know I shouldn't "wig" out and you're absolutely right. It's just frustrating when you've been working toward something for 2+ years for it to all come down to something like this. I'm sure they...

Re: IAC not reading after Eaton swap
Yes we did but he said continuity was good from the IAC to the wire harness on the back driver firewall. He was going to check Monday from the firewall to the PCM. The part I don't understand is he...

Well finished up the swap just in time to hit the dyno date today. Had the car at the shop right at 8am after making the hour long drive (towing). Called to check on it at 3:30 today only to find out...

Re: dead spot right off idle
I'll be using a local shop, wish I had the time to trailer it to HPP but work just won't allow it right now. I spoke to them earlier in the week and they didn't seem to think it would be a problem...

Re: dead spot right off idle
No sir, not yet, just checking to make sure we didn't have any leaks. We were
also checking to make sure we had decent throttle response and to make sure the mechanics of the throttle was working...

dead spot right off idle
We just finished up an eaton swap and worked most of the bugs out. However, we have a slight dead spot right off idle where the car bogs for just a split second. Is this something we need to worry...

Re: upgrades for E85
Thanks for the info TK, I don't plan on pushing more than 450 on the stock block. I was just thinking running E85 would buy me a little more insurance. :)
I might check into other pumps that are...
