Re: NASCAR thread

This is the first year I haven't watched the Daytona 500 in over 20 years. They completely ruined it with all their stupid new ideas. When I first started going to these races in the late 90's it...

Re: 2018 Plans for your car.

I only plan on driving mine more. With only 37K on it, nothing needs replaced. I put 6K on last year. Try and put 5K on this year. It's way more enjoyable driving the Mach in Iowa than it was in...

Re: Radiator panel MACH 1 emblem source

That's actually a good price for that gas cap. People are asking $150 or more for the aftermarket ones from about 12 years ago. I paid $115 for mine back then. The only gas caps that are cheaper are...

Superbowl LII

Who's your choice? Are the Patriots gonna make it 6 Superbowl's and tie the Steelers? Is Philly gonna finally win one? I'd like to see Philly win, but I've got a C-note on the Patriots to win against...

Re: Which car insurance agency to go with?

Your insurance companies probably have a Mach 1 in a Moonshine Runner category. :gears:

Re: NFL Football Thread

My best friend is a Steeler fan too, and he absolutely hates the offensive coordinator Todd Haley and Coach Tomlin. That on-side kick was absolutely moronic. Their was over 2 minutes left in the game...

Re: NFL Football Thread

Pitt made so many mistakes on offense against the Jag-offs it wasn't even funny. If I can see all the screw ups just sitting on my couch watching the game, then how the hell do the offensive...

Re: 2020 Mach1 hybrid!?

Stupid. Ford already steered me away from buying an F-150. If I ever got the money to buy another performance car, I'd go with having all Dodges in my garage.

Re: Which car insurance agency to go with?

I moved back to Iowa from Seattle and my insurance dropped 50% of what it was in Seattle with State Farm. $36 a month full coverage is chump change. I don't like the rules of those specialty...

Re: Chrome Mach 1 fuel door

Yeah, I got my brushed satin fuel door on the website they sold them on here. I think it was called Mach 1 Performance. That was back about 12 years ago.

Re: Chrome Mach 1 fuel door

I'm pretty sure their's one different from that. The chrome trim is on the outer part of the fuel door. I think yours is an MGW fuel door that people sell for an arm, leg, and left nut.

Re: Oil Change Day and Our New Plate!

Those are weird personalized plates. Usually it's where those numbers are and max is 7 spaces.

Re: What are you guys who live in really cold areas doing for the winter?

That's one thing I like since I moved back to the Midwest. They give you a choice at the pump between using ethanol gas or straight gas where I live. I definitely always use straight gas.

Re: What are you guys who live in really cold areas doing for the winter?

I moved back to the Midwest from the west coast 6 months ago. All I've done is Stabil in a full tank of gas, a trickle charger for the battery, and cardboard under the tires. Good enough for...

Re: Hood Strut options?

I doubt you'll have a problem with any of them. I've had the Redline on mine for at least 12 years.

Re: Songs that pick you up!

I've been playing "Black Promises" off the "Carved In Stone" album by Vince Neil for at least 10 years in my Mach when I go anywhere. It starts off somewhat mellow and towards the end of the song...

Re: So what stock stuff has broken on your Mach this year?

I could understand my original fuel pump going out. The car only had 30K miles after 12 years of owning it (and driven very little the past 7 years), but after the 2nd fuel pump went in I've put...

Re: So what stock stuff has broken on your Mach this year?

I'm on my 3rd TOB and 3rd fuel pump this year. My second fuel pump crapped out after only 18 months. Luckily, it died about 50 miles after completing a 2,000 mile roadtrip.
