Re: New Daily Driver - TKat13

The little ecoboost is surprisingly quick, I rarely tow anything but I suspect it will tow an open trailer with the Mach when needed. I've had other trucks for instance a 2002 dodge v8 and it is much...

New Daily Driver - TKat13

As some of you know, I picked up an old 1988 Chevy as my daily, well, its life has ended. Long story short, woke up to go to work, it was 18 degrees, truck would not start and well, put me in a mood...

Re: E85 on bolt on mach

He's correct! Either a BAP or a Pump, not both. I did both at one point and ended up turn my BAP almost all the way off.

Re: E85 on bolt on mach

Never had a problem, ran that setup for a while; even when I converted to a return style fuel system I still used the factory intake and fuel rails. Never had an issue. When I made that conversion,...

Re: E85 on bolt on mach

I did that years ago and wrote up what I did: http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/showthread.php?t=111610

Basically you will either need a boot-a-pump or a 340lph pump, that will take care of the...

Re: Flsc

Aren't you old enough by now that you should be adding some weight? You are making us fatties look bad, yup, all your fault! :)

Re: Flsc

Crap, I forgot the 200lb ballast in my seat! I did the same thing years ago and never thought about my weight.

Re: More issues 2.0

Every time this happened to me, it was that rubber grommet. For a long time, I never saw it. When I drove mine daily, after I changed plugs, I would put a little black RTV around it, over time that...

Re: Tuning question

To bad we don't have the option of having the Ford GT 5.4L intake; it has 16 injectors, you would run small injectors for normal driving and have the second set kick in when you need them. The best...

Re: How much power can a WAP block really handle?

Haha, you said Add Boost to get to 600 and stay there... as soon as I got to 600 it just fed the beast inside me. I was happy with 550, then hit 650 and the grins per mile sky rocketed so then 750...

Re: How much power can a WAP block really handle?

FWIW, I tapped out at 750RWHP running E85 with 80s. After that, I started to run out of fuel. I also have 3 465lph pumps so. I was not starving delivery. :)

I use 3 pumps for my security blanket,...

Re: OEM ride height springs

Agreed on the H&Rs, also, when you install them, if you want a little more height, put in Prothane's Poly spring isolators. I used them in my daughter's '04 so her chin spoiler would clear my...

Re: How much power can a WAP block really handle?

OP, in my signature is a link to my turbo build, may be worth some research so you can avoid all the mistakes I made along the way. :)

When you choose your kit, you have to make sure you also...

Re: dead spot right off idle

I had a similar issue on my build, the tune fixed me right up. :)

Where are you having it tuned? I only ask because I was at HPP during my time off last week and a guy there was from Lubbock and...

Re: Tuning question

If your tuner gave it to you and he tuned the last car I suspect it would be good enough to limp to the shop for a dyno tune. It should go without saying, but do not do any WOT pulls, just keep your...

Re: Got a deal on a 2016 Prem GT

I'd like to have a GT/CS like that one as I prefer the fastback but the vert is the wife's and she always wanted a vert. But, I think I will end up getting an F250 when my time comes, it is more...

Re: E85

Sorry for the late reply; got slammed at work and xmas stuff.
Yes, the fuel seems to be pretty consistent at the same station. I normally only really check it when they start to switch the supply...
