Re: Worst pain you have ever experienced.

When I was a kid and into BMX, I fell off during a jump and basically had a section or road rash about a foot long on the entire side of my upper thigh/hip area. The initial fall wasn't that bad it...

Re: 2003 Mach fresh air vent

Depends of the situation, if the dash has been heat soaked by the sun or you have been stuck in terrible traffic which again heat soaks everything then it will come out pretty warm.

Re: Frequently get hesitation for half a second

Hmmm I wonder if it is something as stupid as a dirty MAF sensor, but you'd think that would show up when logging fuel/spark.

Re: Frequently get hesitation for half a second

Yea, I know the feeling, almost like someone tapped the brakes real quick and it jolts the entire car. I only experience it while cruising in 5th never during acceleration runs, which makes me think...

Re: Frequently get hesitation for half a second

I've had this problem with my car for years, although it happens sporadically. I original though it was the fuel pump, well the original took a dump and I replaced it with a focus SVT unit. ...

Re: New Ford Performance shortblock

Funny I stumbled upon that yesterday as well while perusing the ford performance parts website. I was pumped until I saw the price.

Re: Coolant burping procedure question

Thanks, I was looking to get one of these, as I'm due for a coolant change, and doubt the original will survive being removed again.

Re: Coolant burping procedure question

Off topic a bit, but the billet crossover plug does the provision for the temp sensor need to be plugged if you won't be using it?

Re: Changing PS Fluid Question?

It should pump out a good amount of fluid. To make it easier you can use a 3/8" barb fitting to attach some clear hose to the return line and run that to a bucket. The tubing being clear will let...

Re: Changing PS Fluid Question?

Yea to be honest I've never really changed it on cars either. The car doesn't have many miles but the fluid still is 12 years old. On the other hand my Cougar is 19 and on original fluid, the PS...

Re: Changing PS Fluid Question?

Yea, well the fluid is old so I want it all out, not just whats in the reservoir. Though that is not a bad method at all if you do it regularly, like every oil change or yearly.

Changing PS Fluid Question?

I'm going to change my power steering fluid by removing the return line from the reservoir and running it into a waste container. I'll pump new fluid through the system by adding it to to the PS...

Re: Finally a garage

I don't mind washing a car, but there is something horrible about scrubing it one day and then watching a random thunder storm roll in and ruin all your hard work the next. :grr:

Re: Finally a garage

Not that bad really the paint is in very good condition hardly faded at all. I think one of the factors that helped is that its prior parking spot was under cover of trees, so the car hardy every...
