Re: 2021 Mach 1

I have always thought the S550s looked like the early 70s Mustangs so the lack of the shaker almost seems fitting to me. Although they should have done something similar to the origianl NACA ducts on...

Re: Bilstein B6 rear shocks installation issue

Have you compared them to what your taking out? If the stud is the same length then the bushings are probably off. If the bushings are the problem you should be able to get replacements at auto parts...

Re: Ford's Mustang-inspired electric SUV won't use Mach 1 name

Seems like they would have learned from the Probe fiasco.

Re: MT82 in a Mach 1 possible?

You are forgetting the rear gear plays into it as well. With the T-56 you can swap rear gears and get where you want to.

MT82 1st 3.66 * 3.55 stock MACh gear = 12.99
T56 1st 2.97 * 4.30 rear gear...

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread

I got some of the black ones for mine as well. I also had a red pin stripe added to the lip. I'm still making up my mind if I like them or not.

Re: SRT8 Charger vs Mach stock for stock???

Newer cars keep getting heavier so they need all that big power to make up for all the extra weight. When I first put the MACh on the scales after my fox bad I thought it was a lard ***, but by...

Re: 2020 Mach1 hybrid!?

I've given up on Ford. I know things change but this is an SUV load of crap. Guess it's time to buy a Challenger.

Re: Help Identifying Extension/Delete

Since you have a catless X pipe I would bet it's a MIL eliminator for the rear O2 sensor.

Re: 03 Mach 1 Engine noise

Never heard a garden hose before. I've used a broom handle or even a 2x4 before but never anything rubber. Cool Tip

Comp 106100 cams

Just pulled them out as I'm putting the car back closer to stock. They have no more than a few thousand miles on them as I don't drive the car that much. Would like to get $750 for the set.

Re: Installing a Procharger

IMO the plastic ones from Auto zone work the best. I've had the folding metal one and it doesn't fit right. Not to mention it's a PITA to use. The plastic just slides in and pops them a part.

Re: Power Adder Choices

How are these for noise? I friend had a procharger on a 2006 3v. That thing was so f'n loud every time it came down the road I thought it was the farmer's John Deer across the street. The mechanical...

Re: Ever get tired of how loud your car is?

Standard Magnaflow for sure. I run SLP long tubes, SLP o/r x pipe and standard Magnaflow cat back. As mentioned above it's pretty mellow when you want it to be. It's quieter than my wife's 2v with...

Re: Do modular cam specs compare to windsor specs?

Back from the dead!

I'm finally going to get around to putting them in after sitting on them for over a year and half. Still faster than the 2 years it took to put on my long tubes. :23:

As an...

Re: First Ticket

All radar detectors do is promise a ticket when you get pulled over, and empty your wallet. Police officers loose any compassion once they see them. Officers are not bad guys like the media wants you...

Re: Silver or anthracite fr500's (black mach1)

Silver for sure, but I am biased as I have 18" silver on my torch red MACh. I thought about the machined one when I bought mine, but I didn't like how it makes the spokes look skinnier which then...

Re: headers

The original fox body cars had a much larger starter than our cars have. The "mini" starter that most used was actually a newer factory style starter that is about the size of our factory one.
