I hate to say it, but the geometry of the single bolt tensioner just doesn't have the ability to soak up as much belt stretch as the 3 bolt design. I was achieving 17 lbs at 6700-6800 and holding 17...

Take a video of your tensioner, the only thing happening I can imagine would be the tensioner hitting the stop on the loose side. The single bolt tensioners dont compensate for belt length as well...

S-trim bracket works, you need spacers worth 2 ribs of belt and 5.4l truck pulleys for the accessories for 8 rib
Thumprrr tensioner and RR pulley if you can find one.
