Yes indeed they are 4G alternators, but the 2003-2004 mach 1 alternator uses a different shaft that is mounted and installed differently....

I used some velcro strips (better to use zip ties..and works better than the velcro) that I had to attach them to the underdash section. It's not very convenient to mount, but just do it as you want...

Tiny black HARD hose that goes from the AC evaporator tank's entrance into the firewall and runs across the firewall into the vacuum hoses behind your upper intake.

Are all the anti-rattle clips present on the pads? The ones above the pads and the ones on each side of the pads? If not, you can can have a trailer-like squeal.

Filling it from the coolant reservoir (degass bottle) only puts in maybe 20% of the required coolant in the system.

If it's spilling out, it's because the little coolant left in your motor is not...

I hope you're filling up your coolant from the crossover tube and not just from the degass bottle (wrong spelling below).

Nope, have not come across that issue either. Seems the manuf of the rims built them to a different spec.

Did you measure the rims to make certain they were 9" wide?

I run 17x9 OEM 03-04...

It's a vibration damper. You'll have vibrations regardless of the gears you put in.

I recommend keeping it.

Call Steve at Tousley Ford 800-328-9552. He'll be able to get you the correct OEM flywheel (2002-2004 GT 6 bolt flywheel) plus he'll be able to overnight one to you for cheap.
