Re: Gas cap light, check engine, and misfire

I'd question the mechanic who's telling you that your injectors are too big and the tune too rich. He's obviously mis-informed. If its rich, that's a tuning issue but I'd like to know what drives...

Re: Can not get TOB to shut up

You want an air gap between the PP fingers and TOB when the clutch is in the release state. Back it off, don't pull it tighter.

Re: Need some advice never seen this happen before

Put it in gear, let out on the clutch and have someone look underneath to see if the driveshaft is spinning. May have broken the rear.

Re: Problem with chronic p0133 and p2195

With the long tube headers, its likely an issue with the sensor not staying warm enough. Tuner should increase the heater voltage, adjust the thresholds for heater temp, and adjust the O2 transport...

Re: procharged car running hot

What are your fan settings? Stock settings are:

HS Fan On 228F
HS Fan Off 224F
LS Fan on 214F
LS Fan Off 206F

Sounds like maybe your fan settings are stock.

Too far from Murillo?

I can remote tune it but I'd need the full rundown on your combination.

Re: P2195 is killing me slowly....

+1. You're beating your head against the wall but not using the tools available to you. Get with your tuner and do some datalogging. The car can tell you a whole lot about what's going on so use it...

Re: soooo...oil pump gears arent broken...

Pull the front cover and check all of the oil galley plugs in the heads. Could be that you've pushed one out and are loosing all the oil right back into the pan.

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Misc => Scalars => Engine Displacement

In theory, if nothing else has changed this should be all that you need to update but it wouldn't hurt to re-verify both closed loop and open loop fueling.

Re: need advice , Spark plug getting contacted and bending tip

Plugs just don't close themselves up....that's a mechanical effect. I usually see this when one of the ring lands has been broken due to detonation. Your plug doesn't show signs of foreign object...

Re: Engine Harness

No pictures but I think I've got the entire wiring diagram in a off from Oasis. I've done three or four Machs where we've stripped the harness down to only what is needed. Not got the faint of...

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Re: Gear install/noise issue

Running torque is measured with the pinion only. The carrier must be out of the housing to do this correctly.

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Remember when you're logging it that the LWFM table is in terms of RELATIVE throttle position, not absolute.

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Just wait until you get into the 2015 stuff. There are 32 borderline knock tables, 32 MBT tables, 32 tables for each of the slope, offset and quadratic SD terms, 32 torque and inverse torque...

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Not easily by any means. The Ford model is an inferred model; the airmass, load and VE are indirectly calculated (hence the inferred) from the set of linear coefficients found in the speed density...

Re: Thread for those of us who tune our own cars

Desired fuel mass is an internal calculation based on a number of parameters. Just from memory (so don't kill the messenger if I don't have it 100% correct), but in its most simplistic form:

AFR...
