I rebuild my own automatics but have been very happy with the Lentech components. Their valve bodies rock. I was putting down about 600Hp through a 4r70w and I must have made over 200 passes on it...

Stick to the auto. They are work horses if done right. The overdrive bands is the issue. You probably need more line pressure. Check out Lentech Auto. ...

That's what I thought. I am good......stock gears in my car. I know I could jack it up and spin the drive shaft around and count but to be honest this was much easier. :-) Thanks gents.

Stall Converters do not hurt your MPG that much at all if you keep the lock up feature. Yes you will lose a little but once the converter locks up it is no different than a standard stall converter....
