Re: anyone bend a mainshaft?

My father's bent on his 03 Cobra. When we finally discovered it we were like what?? Never seen that before! Aren't those shafts forged? I would have thought it would crack before bending. :??:

Re: My tuner says you can't get much more

Had another conversation with our dyno tech today while my buddy was getting his '08 GT tuned (it made 494 wheel horsepower with a Paxton kit) and the tuner reiterated that the Mach 1 calibration is...

Re: Eaton Swap.....

The roots blower (Eaton, whipple, etc.) sounds like heaven. I could listen to that whine all day long. :worship: However, the power hits really hard and if you push too much boost it can be harsh...

Re: My tuner says you can't get much more

Yeah just as an update, I'm using my old SCT X4 right now to keep the CEL off after the H-pipe installation, and I've decided to wait until this fall or maybe next spring to get a dyno tune. I'm...

Re: Lock-out, missed shifts - Mystery solved?

The 3rd gear lockout is driving me nuts. I was just on Lethal Performance website and I didn't see any mention of the Fiore adjuster that everyone is talking about.

They do have a Maximum...

Re: SRT8 Charger vs Mach stock for stock???

That is true. I think the Charger is about 900 lb heavier than me.

Re: SRT8 Charger vs Mach stock for stock???

Old thread, I know, but I just thought I'd post to show how relevant the Mach 1 is 16 years later....

Saturday night after a huge car show, a new Mustang GT and a new Charger SRT 6.4L Hemi were...

Re: 2018 Plans for your car.

He unstitched the seat, and actually replaced the entire panel. He said the foam looked good enough to keep, so he just replaced that side bolster panel with new material.

When he ordered it,...

Re: Impressed with the results. Dyno numbers

My GT with a few bolt-ons did 260/299 so if my Mach did those numbers I'd be sick to my stomach. Haha. But I am glad that you're enjoying the car and you got to take it to a dyno. Isn't it a cool...

Re: 2018 Plans for your car.

Well, I spent $800 out of pocket to have the front end of my car painted a month or two ago. Bumper, hood, and blend both fenders. Looked awesome when I got it back. I put the LMR hood decals back...

Re: Mint set of seats worth

$700 would be very good on a full set if they are flawless. I just dropped $360 to have my driver side seat redone because I couldn't find any perfect condition seats around here. If it had gone...

Re: All your eggs in one Basket

Now that fuel prices are headed back up toward $4.00/gallon...we'll see how long this "plan" lasts. I paid $3.30 this past weekend and that was at the cheapest gas station I found.

Re: Reliability after 100k

I agree. Maintenance is key. Mine was a one owner and the guy really seemed like the type who would take care of his stuff. I also got a lot of service records from him on the car. It's got...

Re: Does Ford sell original leather front seat covers?

I'm currently spending $366 to get mine professionally repaired. But if it had been any more than that, I'd probably have bought the LMR covers instead.

Re: What is old is new!

The stock knob looks awesome. Unfortunately, it doesn't work awesome. It gets cold as ice in the winter, it will burn your hand in the summer, and it gets slippery easily if your hands aren't...

Re: Need pics of eibach pro kit

I had the Eibach Sportline springs on my 2001 GT and I'll never do it again. The car looked great, but it had the ride quality of a tobacco wagon and it would bottom out on the rear bump stop every...

Re: They actually managed to make it even uglier!!!

Honestly, NONE of the three current cars (Camar-slo, Mustang, Challenger) have anywhere near the visibility that our cars have. The SN95/New Edge cars are really easy to see out of.

Re: They actually managed to make it even uglier!!!

I'll get hate mail for this, but I like it. I liked what they did with last year's model and the 2019 is really good looking. It's FAR better than the model from 5 years ago. The 2019 looks very...

Re: Deal on magnaflow catbacks

For what you get, I think $490 is insane. There's two mufflers and very little piping involved in a cat-back for these cars.

Thanks for the heads up though.
