Mine looked the same for my old 5.7 truck. Really cheap looking with the flimsy pulley. Maybe a winter custom mod would be a nice idea. Mines already jacked up so i think ill move some things around...

Sounds like it was pretty benifical to you. Always interesting to see all the different things people do to mod the stock lower and make it work way better then originally.

Wont a shorter belt just make up for the a/c location delete? I think the stock tensioner should still provide tension even with the belt going straight from the crank to the pass. idler pulley.

really digging that Mach manifold. Does the single runner style work really well with the higher forced induction. Havent really found any writeups on this style of modding the manifold.

Question for the 98 intake cam swappers

I did my swap with cloytes came gears. I also did a h122 swap ontop of it. Ive been logging data and my tuner has made mention that my Engine Load is quite high.
low 30s at idle
but drops when...

No start problems.

I just finished my battery relocation and the power cable first goes to the starter and then over to the fuse box.
I had it started and running.
Had to lower the Kmember to remove the driver...

Yea, im just currently using the hub and ring for my setup. I dont have the bridge and all the relocated item for mine. It currently has a marauder bracket setup to be different.

I noticed that the SC elbow hits the hard plastic ring on our hoods where the shaker sits up into. Did you have to trim that piece at all?

Ill probably just dick around with bracket heights until it works out or someone chimes in with how they did it. Crazy...

Thanks, helps out a little.
With the M122 swap it looks like i have to trim the drivers side hood hard molding. What the shaker sets up into.
im thinking the people that do this swap ends up...
