I have a 2003 Mach 1 for sale with 93K miles that has developed a rod knock. I was wanting to sell it prior to knowing about the knock and at this point I don't want to put a bunch of money into...

Re: Who has wired a Sub Amp and Sub to the Mach 460 system?

I install at a shop for a living. Just use the acc 12v coming from the radio. Also dont just use a stock bolt for your ground, you can get some issues with doing that. Take out your back seat, sand...

Thumbs down Re: Embarassing MACH1 Driver

I agree with everyone else. My first time at the track, I never saw a 13s pass. If he was shifting at 4k as you said, why are you bashing? Obviously he is just getting into the powerband, so the ET's...

Re: let your girl drive your mach?

I have a good reason not to let your girl drive your car. They lie.

Last year, when I was with my ex, she asked me if she could take the car to work in the morning. She was raised a country girl...

Re: How much is it worth?

He was a 10sec car but I'm a bracket racer. I killed him on the tree(.00x vs .2xx) so it wasn't much of a race after the light.

Re: Starting a new Dyno debate...Wheels

Exactly what I was going to get at. That guy in the SS might have been spinning his tires on the top end with 500rwhp and street tires. It also makes a difference of tire diameter vs. weight. A 15in...

Lightbulb How much is it worth?

I was putting my Lakewood 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks on my car this weekend at my buddies shop and we started talking about when were going to put in my 4.30 gears. Then he said that he was...

Re: Who's Mach is this ?

I work for a dyno and see 10sec cars regularly, but it's not that often you see a car twist that much on the dyno from all that torque. :wow:

Re: Does the park brake engage the front or back?

There is one more way. We had a junk set of rims/tires at the shop that were just asking to be burned up. I started in first and stood on the brake, but it just wasnt getting smokey/loud enough to...

Re: My computer has my timing way out of whack

OK, cool thanks alot. I have never paid any attention to off-throttle timing. I just saw that and since I was having the idling problem I thought they were related. Thanks again.

Re: My computer has my timing way out of whack

Its fine at WOT like I said, the timing tables are fine then. I just have the high idle so I started looking and I found the timing raises to 25deg at idle and alot more at cruise.
