It doesn't sound like I need to be draining my tank at the end of winter then, I've heard all sorts of conflicting info about how high octane gas (that contains ethanol) goes bad even with stabil....

Thanks DSG, I had the same wheels on the car prior to building it when I lived in NY and they do have their share of curb rash plus I wouldn't be surprised if I hit a few potholes when it was stock...

Hi,

Last winter I just didn't touch the car and then when I wanted to drive it I had to buy a battery, have the gas tank drained, etc. My engine was super expensive so I dont want to do anything...

I was maybe going 25, maybe.was on a slick road I figured the tires would lose traction before anything would break. I hope it's the cable or quadrant. I don't think the cable snapped completely...
