I'm off to a Superbowl party right now. I was supposed to receive
Payment last night on this. If I don't see payment by the time I get
Home from work tomorrow, I'll shoot and post a picture with...

Yes, I sent you a PM tonight. I used to get email notifications when I received a PM from this site, but that seems to be broken...

Re: Anyone else have issues breaking clutch cables?

What kind of spacers came with the Fiore quadrant? It's very important that the incoming cable line up perfectly with the quadrant...

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

Glad you got them in there; that was the correct thing to do for sure. The fact that one side was ok is disturbing though, it just sounds as though Hawk's quality control is lacking...

For those...

Re: Source for cross drilled rotors?

I just installed the drilled and slotted version in mine. They work fine and look terrific.

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

I put the rears on last weekend. Unlike the fronts, I had no issues at all. They look good and perform well, so I'm happy. If Hawk gets their front pad thickness figured out, I'd be ok with them....

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

Like I said a couple of posts up, the common thread on this problem seems to be Hawk pads. I found several threads where people complained of pads being too tight and though I saw several brands of...

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

Got the fronts on today. Sanded pads about two thousandths each. Took it out and bedded them in, no issues. I'll do the rears tomorrow if it's raining or one afternoon next week. Hopefully, they...

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

Thanks. I don't have a grinder, so sandpaper it is. I did a search on this problem and the common thread is Hawk pads. They should probably just make them a thousandths or two thinner to begin with...

Re: Power Slots and Hawk Pads Rubbing

Thanks for the reply. I have plenty of sandpaper of various grit. I don't need to remove much material, so I'll go a little at a time as you suggest.

Glad I found this thread, I'm having the same problem. What grit sandpaper did you use?

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

What are the part numbers on the pads? Sometimes GT rear pads are sent instead of Cobra/Mach1.

Edited to add: I just looked at mine (haven't installed them yet). Fronts are HB111F.610 and rears...

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

I don't think it makes much difference for street use. I got slotted and cross drilled; not for any performance difference, I just like the way they look.

Re: Cam Swap set in motion

Wouldn't it be more proper to say 60+ horsepower from the cams Bassani mid length headers and Bassani off road X? Hard to tell how much just the cams added...

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

The first package shipped. Since it's 7 lbs, that has to be the pads. Waiting to receive the tracking for the rotors.

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

I saw many good reviews of the product on here and as you say the price can't be beat. I'm ok with the delay but would have been better had the 6 to 10 days to ship been spelled out somewhere. We'll...

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

True enough. He responded to my email from this morning saying I should receive tracking information (separate for the rotors and pads) today and should receive the items this week. I would have less...

Re: Rotorpros - slow to ship?

I would be a lot more ok with the slow shipping if they hadn't charged my card the day I placed the order. We don't charge a customer's card until the items ship.
