I just talked to Alan at Speed of Sound and they are excepting customer A-pillars for modification now. You will have to supply the A-pillar and pay postage and handling plus buy the pods. He said...

autometer offers a 2 and 3 gauge pillar pod. it looks like cheap plastic and doesn't match the interior color, but a little prep work can cure that and they are paintable to match whatever you want

GM, Ford to collaborate on new transmissions
Here is something to get you talking..... GM and Ford to develope 9 & 10 speed automatic transmissions together. My thoughts is it was only a matter of time before they colaberated on something.
