Hmmm. I have removed the cam covers from several mach's, and never have I had to loosen the motor mounts or any exhaust component. I always just remove the power steering res. and bracket,..remove...

wow,..thats a lash adjuster problem,..I've fixed a dozen of them,...pull the pass side valve cover,..pull the plugs, put a socket on the harmonic balancer bolt and turn the engine until you see one...
