When I put long tubes on mine it seemed quieter inside the car. It was almost like the loudness was behind me rather than right underneath the driver seat. Now, outside the car was another story.

A member on the forum where the photo was originally posted sent the photo to a vintage car restorer and he thinks 1928 Cadillac. I personally would also have no idea.
