I need an engine.

I'm wanting to buy, or build an engine. I would love to buy an aluminator long block but for the $ I think I could have a better long block built at a shop with my block. Any ideas?

Was the 326 with any mods, tune, and so on? How long have you had the motor? I'm guessing your still driving it under boost?

Re: Stroker kit?

What's the downside to having a cast crank? I thought a forged crank was a big improvement.

Re: bolt out worth it?

Soak it in some pb blaster and resoak then resoak. Then you might have a shot. You might even have a better shot with a impact or air ratchet to help it dig in better and keep tension on the bolt out.
