So I am about to start an engine build. But selecting the pistons is a challenge:

1 - Need to manage budget, so can't get just anything. Need off the shelf .020" over piston based on my block...

OK, I have been working out building a replacement 4.6 4v (looking at teksid). Thinking over good parts and I don't see issues there (good parts availability I think). Expecting a .0020 overbore.

Just talked with TA performance on this. The one I got, TA 1806 is the one that is recommend on their site for our car. But when lowered (I have SR perf springs), it seems 1806B is the better...

So mine are all green (darker green) and the new one I got to replace the Cobra injector is light green by Bosche (vs Ford part). So perhaps they have all been replaced then if they come black...

There should be a very small part number on them on the side (might have 2 different numbers on each side). Try googling them and see what turns up. Aftermarket injectors might come in different...

OK, I admit it was scary as I thought I might end up ripping off the bolt on the power distribution block trying to get that nut off. But with some help and special tools I was able to get it off...
