Re: 275/40r17 or 315/35r17 which is better for overall performance on rear?

I like my 315/35-17 NT555R. My car only sees 1-2K miles per year though, so I can't speak to tread life.

Re: Where does this bracket go?

Looks like maybe a throttle cable bracket, just not for your car.

Re: Get a compliment? Post it!

Yeah I'm surprised how many (non-car) people think I also cut the hood and added the shaker.

Re: Get a compliment? Post it!

This car still turns heads like crazy (when I drive it). You just don't see them around here anymore. I get compliments frequently at gas stations. Add the turbo and it's an ultra-rare combination...

Re: Tuning

The car will still drive fine out of boost, but wind it out and you'll probably find the upper end of the MAF transfer table quickly and go lean. Get it tuned again before actually trying out the...

Re: You tell me...Gt350 or Power adder for Mach 1????

For raw power I think you'd be very surprised how fast the Mach 1 is with a turbo. Meth injection or E85 would work to keep those pistons happy. So if you still love the Mach 1 this is certainly an...

Re: Anyone try torco MTF fluid?

Cool. Let us know how they perform and the feel vs OEM.

Re: Anyone try torco MTF fluid?

I'd like to see pictures of the carbon rings when you get them. I was told my multiple builders that they didn't exist for the TR 3650. I actually ordered some sold as carbon, but they were just OEM...

Looks great. Centerforce? What's the torque rating?

Re: anyone bend a mainshaft?

No way I'd pay $1K for a used TR3650. Maybe if it were freshly rebuilt with upgraded input shaft.

Re: anyone bend a mainshaft?

That's a really strange part to fail. Typically there is zero pressure on it. It's lightly pressed into place and then a snap ring behind it. It would have had to come in contact with the case or...

Re: New build

Looks like a fun but tedious project. Definitely some big difference in metal thickness there.

Re: Started with a vibration

Great to hear it's all buttoned up. Hopefully one day we cross paths. I can't remember the last time I saw a white Mach 1 out in the wild.

Re: D1SC build

Keep the McLeod. It's absolutely not an on/off switch. I have the RXT twin disc and it's very streetable.
