Re: where to get a nice car cover

Yes excellent point. If you find something you like from Griots look around before you buy; many things can be found for a cheaper price.

Re: OE Replacement Interior Acc. Where?

If they are just polished billet you may try to look into getting them powder coated. Its something I considered on my old Mustang GT. You would have near stock appearance but must greater...

Re: My new favorite movie clip

I rented this movie yesterday; it doesn't have all the weird shifting like this clip.

The most bothersome flaw for me is how that boat is able to gain on the Mustang. Even though in movies...

Re: Mach 1 Wheel Cleaning???

After removing the wheels I have had success using a Dual action polisher with small pads and mild polish to remove some dullness and scratches. The difference was amazing; results I'd never have...

Re: Fusion the new Jag?

That car looks great. I think they went to all 4 cyl engines because this going to be the new global mondeo. This is a shame though, with looks like that having a 3.5 Ecoboost would be spectacular.

Re: Replacement Sear Covers from TMI Products coming soon

I too am disappointed about the link weave not being available. I wonder if they could offer just the outers and have the stock inners sewn in.

Another thought I had was cloth; just like the...

Re: Replacement Sear Covers from TMI Products coming soon

I wonder if they will be vat dyed instead of spray dyed leather. I like soft and supple; seems to last longer.

Re: Question about parting out a car

Here in NJ when I was finished with the parts and only the frame remained I cut it up to bits and sold it for scrap iron. No paperwork needed.

Re: Question about parting out a car

You would need the title to sell the car, but not parts of it.

Re: Magnaflow vs Dynomax VT pics+video inside

The drone reduction is pretty impressive. It reminds me of when I test drove a 2006 Mustang GT vert. Pretty loud idle and accel but really quiet cruise.

Re: key fob question

The problem with the all in one key and fob is where the key goes in our cars. It has a design that our keys fit into, and the fob might be too thick to fit.

Re: Mossberg 500 bullpup 12 gauge

Nice find, can't say I've heard of that before. Definately not what I thought of when thinking about a Mossberg 500.

Re: Engine detailing

I use an assortment of brushes to scrub everything, usually just a spray and soak won't clean all to well.

Re: Engine detailing

I usually don't cover anything.

You could cover the rear of the coil covers, water seems to get in there, and add some foil over the alternator.

Products, I use Chemical Guys Grime Reaper for...

Re: Concealed Carry in the Mach

I feel the best way I can retain and control is to keep it on my person. I use appendix carry. (barrel tucked in waist band pointing at leg or balls)

Using a zack holster I can shift firearm...

Re: Sound deadener

I guess it can be subjective. I covered the floors, doors(skin and frame), side panels, roof, and trunk floor with dynamat extreme. Road noise is almost nil. With the windows up passing traffic is...
