Re: Fluidampr Questions

Re: Fluidampr Questions

So what's all this about the Fluidampr causing an 11HP gain? Is that BS?

1) If I go with the Fluidampr & retain my stock-sized Waterpump & Alternator Pulleys, how many inches shorter of a belt will I need?

2) If I go with the Fluidampr, where can I purchase Underdriven...

Re: Pulleys....??

In my case I need to replace all my pulleys anyway so I figure why not go Underdrive? I haven't explained this on the Board yet but something is seriously wrong in my Belt-train that I haven't been...

Re: Pulleys....??

With the Fluidamper, do you have to still get Waterpump & Alternator underdriven pulleys for the belt to fit?

Re: rear now goes wawawaaawaaa

More than likely gear whine. I noticed it after my 4.30s install in March 2004. Have had no rear-end problems since the install but it has whined since then.

Re: Cams?

Was this ever looked into? I am curious as I am currently in the market for cams as well. I want a rough idle and a decent power gain and intend to stay N/A for now but should I chose to go away...

Re: Anyone unning Sumitomo HTR Z II?

I had the Sumitomos, not the IIs, as they came with my rims from AFS. I liked the front ones, 275s, but the rears, 315s were pathetic. Let me clarify, the tread wore down in about 8 months on the...

Re: Geez. Blew my Driver-side Header Gasket

Re: Geez. Blew my Driver-side Header Gasket

My Headers have been on for about 2.5 years, w/ no problems until just recently, except scraping. When I went to Ford, they were throwing $600 around like flying cockroaches. So I went to a local...

Geez. Blew my Driver-side Header Gasket

Sucks. I knew something was wrong for about a month or 2, but didn't know what it was. I originally thought it was a ticking sound but it's more of a distorted whistle since yesterday. She's going...
