Frequency of Missing Depending on the Humidity
There have been a few threads discussing that annoying missing/hesitation that occurs while cruising or under light acceleration. It seems that most ascribe this to either an 'overactive' EGR valve...

Re: Mach 1 shaker system
I agree that the shaker scoop enhances the look of the mach 1, pretty much makes it the unique looking car that it is. But I wish they could have had a different intake desin where the air is routed...

Re: Noobie question
Okay. Let's say well over 500 hp at the flywheel:3amin:
Actually in the most recent issue of 5.0 Mustang, they have a report with 469 rwhp on a '03 Cobra with PHP airbox, Bassani headers, catted...

Re: Noobie question
The engine in the 03-04 Cobras is a much more durable unit than in the Mach 1s. This includes not only the cast iron block vs. aluminum, but more importantly the forged connecting rods and pistons in...

Re: Mach 1 Jerking....what gives??
I imagine it will. I bought just the wires that connect the coil to the plug and it didn't stop the misfiring but it did seem to add a smidge of pep to the low end.
I wonder if I can buy the coils...

Re: Mach 1 Jerking....what gives??
Didn't help my car. I have been having some missing in the 2-3k rpm range and unplugging the vacuum line to the EGR made no difference. So I guess it is a bad coil, most likely. What a pain in the...

Re: CAI Opinions
This one has to take the top prize for ultimate BS. I just noticed an ad in the most recent 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords, in which Granatelli Motorsports claims they have a CAI which, in combination...

Re: oOoooo How about these? (For Red Mach)
No, that is the per wheel price. In fact it is worse than that if you want 18 inch wheels because they are $510 for 18x8 and $535 for 18x9.5 sizes:eek:

Re: oOoooo How about these? (For Red Mach)
Those wheels are listed as being "billet" rather than cast. What is the difference between that and forged?

Re: Best Intake...
Supposedly, those CAIs are very overrated and you are best off to just use a K&N filter in the stock airbox, unless you want one of those aftermarket systems for their looks. Buy a flash tuner and it...

Re: CAI Opinions
I was just looking back at an article on the Kenne Bell superchargers for Mach 1 and '01 Cobra. They use the '03 Cobra inlet duct between the MAF and throttle body with its 'bellows' that the...

Re: CAI Opinions
If the HP gain from the CAI is from leaning out, I assume this is because it is allowing increased airflow. But the computer will compensate to rebalance the A/F ratio, so the overall effect is more...

Re: I have a skip in my motor
I noticed a bit of that momentary hesitation recently mostly when under light acceleration in town in 3rd and 4th gear around 1800-2500 rpm. My stock plugs were all in the 0.048 range, so according...

Re: The Wheel Pictures Thread
Those are nice. I saw them listed on a couple websites for $200 a piece (both the 18x8 and the 18x9.5 same price) My car is currently on stock wheels and tires and those TSWs are one I would...
