After reading all the chatter about noise w/aftermarket shifters, I've not taken the chance to finding out the hard way. I've ordered Bob's gaskets.
I've read about this being an apportune time to change the crash box lube.
Any recomendations as to what make or quantity to use. I know the Company calls for Dex3...opinions? I just ordered an MGW 5 minutes ago.

I will definitely be ordering another gasket. I'm taking the Mach in for a tranny TSB shortly, and will have to replace stock shifter for obvious reasons.

I see you've got an MGW shifter, I just got mine today as a present and hopefully the gasket will get here before it snows so I can test it out before the car goes away for the winter.

You should receive it pretty quick, I know mine came in pretty fast. I'd also recommend changing the tranny fluid with M1M's secret recipe while you have the stock shifter out, it all makes a world of difference if you do everything at once! :THUMBSUP:

Two quarts of Mobil 1 tranny fluid, and 1 quart of Lucas transmission fix (not exactly 3 Liters, so add a little more Mobil 1 fluid). It got rid of my 1-2 grind and it made my shifting a lot smoother!! I think I only had about 18,000 miles on the car when I changed my fluid. :THUMBSUP:

i bought a set of gaskets earlier this year and let me tell you they are great, no leaks, and no messy silicone to smear everywhere

Hey CobraBob Well I Scanned Thru all 7 Pages And Figured out that if so many people where happy with their results than hey! Why not me??? I ordered mines yesterday 3/15 thru my co-worker/secretary under (Holliewood) along with a new steeda tri-ax shifter.....:eyebrows: I live in Cali....Do you know how long will it take to deliver it down here I live in the BayArea???? Again, sorry for the delayed response. I remember your order, and you probably already received it by now. Delivery times vary with the USPS as we all know. LOL! I think it usually takes 5-6 business days from CT to CA.
