Thats Awesome! I think most would pay a little more for better quality. I think engraving would give them a more factory look.

Yes, engraving would be a huge improvement over the dye printing that tends to smear and blur over time! :hail1:

You guys can go to Things Remembered in most malls and have plates engraved....hell you can bring anything into that store and have it engraved. Even filled with black ink if you wanted.

For my father-in-law and brother-in-law who scca race their vetts, I had tags made up for them with their name,make,model etc on it.

Granted it was really simple with no Ford logo on it. Just an idea.

my wife owns a machine shop and shes got one of her guys working on one for my mach on a cnc machine. I will post picture when or if he ever finishes it. she said by time he gets all programing completed she will have $500 in it but we'll see. If it does not cost as much as she says maybe I can get some made for other people on here.

Hi Jeff. You did my window stickers not too long ago, shipped to 60154. Anyway, I have one of the original plates on the first page of the post but I'm eager to see what the finished product looks like for the Mach 1s.

Hi Jeff,

I purchased one of your SVT Romeo plates to put on my Aluminator motor. Good quality stuff, and I'm sure that whatever comes out of this this endeavour will be just as good.

Not that you can see it very well, but the SVT Romeo Engine Plate is there, and has been for a couple of years.

Nice job, Jeff. I suppose if folks want the vehicle specific information more prominent, they can use a wax pencil to give it more contrast.

I think the issue is setup cost with changing the screening for every separate car. Much easier and cheaper to screen the tag as shown and then engrave the individual vehicle information.

I am going to order two and try filling in the engraving with black paint to make it stand out a little more.

Not sure if anyone here can find that out. I think you need to go to Ford performance or something like that (search the M1R for build number) and there you can give them your VIN and they will send you your cars info and certificates.

FOR SERIAL NUMBER, you MUST Contact Ford Performance Group and get a certificate, no one else has that information. Sorry.

i know thats right because i logged in through fmcdealer and typed in my vin and showed the build date but not the build # i work at a ford dealership..
