I'll take'em.

GRB60 08-27-2004 08:44 AM

A thumbs up to CobraBob. Have the gaskets on mine and the trans is just as quiet as with the stock shifter!

CobraBob 08-27-2004 10:09 AM

I have other sets available if anyone needs one.

Mustangdude 08-27-2004 10:45 AM

A big  for Bob and the gasket kit. I purchased one for Steeda Tri-ax. Worked great and I do not have any of the annoying whine I have heard others talking about with their aftermarket shifter installs. I highly recommend this product and Bob.

CobraBob 08-27-2004 11:36 AM

Thanks GRB60 and Mustangdude for the kind words! ;)

BADASS03SVT 08-27-2004 12:00 PM

Thanks Jake! :)

FastSnake 08-27-2004 12:16 PM

is this a gasket that replaces RTV? is it made out of rubber or cork, and is it reusable?

CobraBob 08-27-2004 12:22 PM

The set of gaskets is made from special high-temp silicone rubber just for this application. It does replace the silicone sealer you would normally use. The gasket is reuseable. Hope this helps. There is a picture of a T-56 set on my website if you want to see what the material looks like. The Mach 1 (TR-3650) gasket set is different of course.

Looks good, gonna try one, $$ on the way

CobraBob 08-27-2004 12:38 PM

Got it! Your set will mail out today! :)

FordMan 08-27-2004 03:28 PM

Will send the $$ for a set later today. I have a MRT shifter installed with the "Right Stuff" gasket material with no problems but would like a set of these for the future if needed.

I already got mine from CobraBob a couple of weeks ago.

Funds are low right now.

Mark, check the Market forum on svtperformance.com. There are always shifters for sale. You might find one for your Mach 1. Also check eBay periodically. I've seen deals there, too.

99whitecobra99 09-04-2004 12:46 AM

So what are you driving now Bob?

CobraBob 09-04-2004 01:25 AM

I'm driving a vehicle that would blow the doors off my 504rwhp Cobra. A 2002 Infiniti QX4 SUV. It isn't fast so I do miss the awesome power of my Cobra, but this is so much more practical for me. I really like it. Bought it used. 20k miles. It's a pearl white paint. Nice plush interior. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda.

Best thing is I can actually drive it anytime, anywhere without being paranoid. LOL!

So I now live my muscle car fantasy life on these forums. I envy you guys. :worship:
