New bumper paint match
Hey everyone, so I got a bumper painted for the Mach this week and when I put it on it’s pretty close but just a bit light and I can’t get over it. Wondering if I should bother going back to the shop or what other options I have.
Side note: entire car is ceramic coated with like 4-5 layers of wax new bumper is fresh with nothing on it and I’m trying to figure out if ceramic coating it and a few layers of wax will make the difference https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d0406643aa.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7b82e4f738.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ce9dd564ef.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Fully coated or even waxed paint will look deeper for sure. If it’s pretty close, but just on the lighter side, that could make a difference. How long do you think you’ll need to wait before you can get the front bumper treated with wax and or coated?

I’m not sure but I ended up calling the body shop yesterday and they’re going to just repaint it for me to get it right. In the day time it’s much more noticeable and I just couldn’t live with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That’s good to hear they are wanting to get it right! Look forward to seeing the end result. |
Bumper came back and they got it right this time. I left the whole car with them for a few days. They said they had to take some white out from the mix to get the color right. I’ll get some better pics later
