Hello from a Canadian!

Hey! I figured I'd join up here since I just got a Mach 1 not too long ago. Anyways, I'm 19 and this is, unfortunately, my 2nd Mustang. Before this Mach 1 I had a 1994 Mustang GT that I had sunk a LOT of time/money into to fix it up. It was a simple HCI 302 that put down 270rwhp on a Mustang dyno, had the car completely painted/fixed of rust, swapped in Mach 1 seats ironically, and had basically restored the car front to back. Got into an accident in march and twisted the frame up bad. Bought it back, parted it out and used the money to get my Mach 1. Anyways, here are some pics of my old car and my new one.

The old 1994 Mustang about 3 days before it got total'd :(

And my Mach 1, Only mods I have done to it are swapping my Saleens onto there and tinting the rear windows, the rest of the mods were done by previous owner, which were done very tastfully. Not a fan of Dronemaster exhaust though, will be swapping in an O/R x pipe and Borla stingers soon.

Welcome and good luck with your Mach 1. Obviously, much better luck than with your 94 GT.

Hey there, welcome from Edmonton!

As far as parts being expensive up here they have come down allot but it has taken time. Now that our dollar has been on par or better than yours for the past year or so the parts sellers are finally passing that savings down to us. Gouging bastards. They sure don't waste time cranking it back up when the dollar dips.:anger:

Haha I hear you on car parts to Canada, considering over 90% of the crap for my old car was shipped, I have a HUGE hatred towards UPS now, they like to screw Canadians on brokerage/duty fees, Canada post/USPS is way better but no one ships through them. I'm definitely liking it more than the old car, order my driveshaft loop and will be welding her in when it gets here, can't wait to hit the track!

I feel your pain. I was able to repair mine, though.

I love both those Stangs. Too bad the 95 was wrecked, but at leas it will live on through it's parts on other cars. It was also good you got a Mach 1 too :3amin:

Re: Hello from a Canadian!

Actually, I sold the shell of the 1994 to a guy who runs at the track that I do, although he runs in the 8.5 second class. He is going to tube the front, and swap the drivetrain from his current 83 stang into my old one. Kind of excited to see it when he's done, knowing it was once my car :)

I have seen your old car in the SN95 forums and was sorry to see it wreaked. Congrats on the new Mach and welcome from the east coast.

Welcome to the registry from the not so sunny United Kingdom!

And if you think you pay too much for parts, you should try it from where I am !!

Haha I feel bad for ANY European American muscle fans, they get rooted not just on shipping, but gas prices too! I put my driveshaft loop on last saturday when I could sneak into work to do it. Planning to race it July 22nd!
