I called and switched our room as well. Same price was honored. I couldn't change it on the App. Was an easy call and as DRaper said maybe was on the phone a minute.

I updated the list with the new dates I also called TJ Rockwells and moved that reservation to July 30. If anyone has any changes please let me know. I'll wait to change CandMBennett & BLomison when we get confirmation from them.

Hotel has moved the Group Block to July 30-Aug 2

MOR or MACH ONE REGISTRY is the GROUP CODE

All set up, should not have a problem changing your reservations. Just give them a call.

If you have your Confirmation Number, that will help them find your reservations quicker. Just got mine switched over.

Confirming that I’m going to have 3 for me for Thursday night. Do you have an estimate of how many hot dogs and buns I’m going to need for the picnic for both days?

We have had a member purchase hot dogs in the past I have yet to see them post that they will be attending this year. I mention this because I don't want to step on them if they were getting the dogs again.

I want to say when it comes to the hamburgers we do between 60 & 80 I'm guessing maybe less on the hot dogs, like maybe 40?? I also don't know what moving the show and the Rona issues will change with our member number. I know for myself if they held the show any later in the year I wasn't going to make it.

Thank you for offering to help out. I updated the list to 3 on Thursday.

If that member does decide to post up and say they are attending and want to bring the hot dogs, I’ll let them do so, but I’ll keep an eye out on the thread. I guess we’ll have to wait and see when the time gets closer for the amount of members attending

Yes that all sounds good, I'm waiting as well on exactly how many will be in attendance. I mention the other member as I don't want to step on anyone's toes. At one time we had 2 members making some awesome themed cakes. I always hoped we didn't upset the first person making the cakes when the 2nd person came onboard... I appreciated them both for doing them and sharing them with us. So thank you for understanding.
PS:If I'm rambling on its because I am bored AF at work.. lol

Going to try the Chevrolet show this year in June. Got a reservation at Home Wood for 1 night. Entering our 1967 Chevelle on the show field in the modified class. Interested to see how small this show is in comparison to Ford show. If you go to the Chevy show as a spectator you can park on property... In the 15 years I've gone to the Ford show its always packed and as a spectator you'll be parking off property. June 26/27...

We are probably going to have an opportunity for someone else to step up and cook this year. I am having shoulder surgery (Bone spurs, separated labrum, rotator cuff tear) in June and may not be able to handle grill duties this year as I have in the past.

So, if you're a grillmaster, a weekend bbq'er or just would like to help, please speak up :)

Just had the commercial play in my mind for Budweiser "Real Men of Genius"...

Mr. Grillmaster weekend BBQ'er.. You, the man with the spatula in his hand... Flipping burgers, applying cheese and spilling beer.... lol

No problem Jeff, hope all goes well with your shoulder issue's. Hope we can actually have a Carlisle Ford's 2020..

Anyone canceling or on the fence about this year please let me know as soon as you know. Just so we can gauge how many are going to attend. Thank you

If it happens, I'm in. I've bought my pass and changed my hotel reservations.

Latest thing I've heard is now the PA State Health Dept. is suing Carlisle Productions for allowing an event with more than 250 people attending to take place.

Hopefully one of our locals in the area can keep us posted on what's going on. :OUCH:

Let you know what the place looks like next weekend. Going to the GM show now labeled as a Chevrolet show but still all the GM brands. We're staying over Friday night at the Homewood Suites.
Life long Chevrolet fan yet I've been to 15 Carlisle Ford shows but have never been to a Chevy show at Carlisle. Hope we park next to something really nice and we offend them.

(LOL) Brag a lot about the patina on the car and how it increases the value on a classic car.

Also will be interesting to hear how the crowd compares to previous shows last year. Have fun and be safe.

The GM show has barely been getting 1,000 vehicles. Carlisle pissed off the Camaro owners and they started their own show in MD.

I see MD also has a Chevelle club get a nice show in the town of Norheast just past Woody's Crab House. We might try hitting that show this year if it works out. Still hoping to do Drag Week 2020 with the Chevelle.

August 1, 2020, Typically we have enough leftovers from Friday night (7/31) to eat on Saturday (8/1) at the hotel as well. So we do BBQ #2 on Saturday evening 8-1-2020.

Notes for 2020 written below!!
Thursday Group trip ?
Head to show field 9am Friday morning from hotel.
Head to show 7am Saturday morning from hotel.

Anyone have any updates for our list of events and/or food?? Anyone we need to add or remove from any lists? I assume we may be a smaller crowd this year but we still could use some items for the BBQ on Friday and Saturday evening's.
condiments - salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard
paper plates, cups, plastic ware, napkins
aluminum pans, aluminum foil

We'll make a Walmart run when we get there. Just give me a shopping list. My local Sticky Fingers closed so I'll have to look elsewhere for BBQ Sause.

I find that brand in our local grocery store sometimes. Not the multi-pak but individuals. We will get it all together by showtime... I'll try to remember to bring some if we find Sticky Fingers or another brand.

We are still waiting to see if Chelle’s vacation gets approved or not for the new dates. As soon as I know I will post up. Worst case I’ll be flying solo Thursday and Friday and plan on doing dinner Thursday night and the picnic Friday night. Really looking forward to seeing everyone and hanging out. 😊
