Which K member is for me

Do any of them work with stock a arms and stock struts? I dont feel like blowing a grand all at once on something like this, the only reason I really want to order one is so i can pull off my passanger header to pull my tranny if needed (i have long tubes)

I am using a PA Racing K and it works with stock arms and struts. Fit was excellent. Only thing you would have to do is make the hole that the motor mount a little bigger or grind down the nib on the motormount. I choose to make the hole a little bigger. No creeks or noise. Original filter works with it as well. If you order one you need it to have spring perches and motor mounts! That goes for any K that you want to use stock hardware with. I am sure everyone will have their own opinion, but it is working great for me and I have never heard anything negative about the PA Racing K member.

oh cool that one didnt even come up when i was searching, do you have a link to the spring perches youre using? and what do you mean motor mounts? as in you need to run different ones?

edit: nevermind its on their site, did it shift the wheels forward or out at all?

no it did not change the stock location at all. The one that I have pictured has the spring perches and the motor mounts on already. The spring perches are what the stock springs sit in and the motor mounts are what the motor sits on in the stock location,

Yes you can, that is what I am thinking of doing later down the road.

Be aware: steering rack bushings, bumpsteer kits being needed, oil pan clearance and clearance with some headers and clearance with cobra style oil cooler as in a Eaton swap have been problems.

If you're gonna have a lot of street use, I'd rather ya not see ya buy a PA.
I fully understand the expense issue.

goddam it!!!!!!!! why is there always something! the only reason i want this dam thing is for ease in getting to my headers if i need to drop my tranny, i wish i never did long tubes:eyes:

Hey bud, why not phone PA Racing and tell them what headers you have and also ask if any there are any problems that the PSR shop says happens when installing a PA Racing K member on a Mach 1. 1-877-550-8400 (he may be at the NMRA event this weekend)
I did not need any of the stuff that PSR shop said and I am sure what they wrote is true or they have heard or seen things with the install on some cars.
All I am saying is that for my application it worked great. (Skinnies, stock a arms, 7 qt Moroso Oil pan)
I did mention that you would have to file off the nubs on the motor mounts or notch the K member.

Does the PSR k-member have clearance issues with the Cobra Oil Cooler? I was planning on using the PSR and doing an Eaton swap.
