Ground Clearance with This Header/DownPipe/Exhaust Combo

Hey Guys,

It has been quite some time since I have had the time to do any major work to the Mustang, however the weather is warming up and I feel the need to make some changes.

A couple years back I lowered the Mach with these springs and put Koni Orange Shocks and struts on.

I also currently have a Bassani X-Pipe and Bassani Cat Back

The cat back and x-pipe came with the car when I bought it, however the headers are still stock.

I am getting the itch to replace the headers with the BBK Longtubes linked below as well as replacing the X Pipe with a H-pipe to give that lower grumble sound.

H-Pipe

My main question is anyone has experienced or known the BBK longtubes to have any clearance issues, especially in a lowered setup?

Longtubes Headers + Lowered Suspension = Ground Clearance Issues. You're going to scrap on everything, regardless of what brand of long tube headers you go with if your suspension is lowered. But longtubes will add more power and a deeper exhaust note, so many Mustang owners are willing to take the risk of scraping exhaust on speed bumps, driveways, etc...Just have to be very careful with approach angles or avoiding any elevated road surfaces (ie. speed bumps) by going around them when possible.
