Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
This is my first Mustang ever but not my 1st Ford.
I jumped right in because I've owned a formula and an RS camaro before and moved up the latter with GM. But always wanted a Mustang from the start. My mach 1 is probably faster than my old 93formula even with the supercharger installed on the firbird. Old 93's were only 14.5 second cars. I'm happy with my mach1! Very nice classic pics!! |
Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
Nope I've had a 95 V6, 69 428CJ, 90 4cyl, 85 GT, 96 GT, and 05 V6. Other then the 69 this is the nicest Mustang I've had.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
my first stang was the '93 ltd edition yellow/black vert. only thing stock was the rotating assembly. wish I would have taken it to the track. But I think my mach is just as quick with a lot less $$$ invested.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
My 04 DSG Mach1 is my first mustang but I have been shopping and testdriving GTs for about 2 yrs. I always left dissappointed after testing the GTs and the CObras just seemed out of the ballpark as far as price went. Then found this site and read up on the Mach1s and found a few locally, but after missing the deal and not even testdriving one I drove 100 miles for a last shot at one and drove that one and was impressed with it because it seemed so much more powerful and solid compared to the GTs (no offense meant) and since the market seemed to be drying up on Machs in the area and this one was in great shape and they weren't hesitant to give me an oasis on it I got it and haven't been dissappointed ..

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
This is my first... Actually, it's still on the truck on it's way to me. 2004 Mach 1, all original in Comp Orange. It's going to be a long 2 weeks waiting. I always wanted a 69 Mach 1... then I saw a screaming yellow 2004 Mach 1... Fell in love and started the search! So here I am... a soon to be happy member of the greater Mach 1 family.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
I've had many Mustangs. The first was an 82GT in 1982. 157 HP and I was eating up everything in town. Then there were some GT convertibles, A SVO, a couple Cobras, and now my Saleen and the Mach 1. The 04 Screaming Yellow Mach 1 is by far the funnest car to drive of all of them. The power, handling, looks, brakes (how many of you old guys remember the fox body brakes?) and ride is far superior to the rest of my Mustangs.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
This is my 3rd mustang.
My first was a 64 1/2. Plain jane 170 ci 6 cyl. 3 speed on the floor and red just like my 2003 Mach 1. It was slow but a blast to drive. My dad borrowed it one day and it got run over by a runaway cement truck in a parking lot. Luckily my dad wasn't in it. Mustang # 2 was a 69 Mach 1 maroon with gold stripes. It was beautiful. 351 W auto with white interior. Put on some Crager SS mags (cut me a break this was in 1970, OK)Man, I loved that car, unfortunately it tangled with the rear end of a 1964 valiant on the interstate one night and lost. Fast forward to 2006 and now i have the 03 Mach TR 5sp. Bought it brand new. I love it too. But maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder, because that 69 Mach 1 is still my favorite. I know the specs say the 03 is faster, but it doesn't feel like it. Of course it has been over 30 years since it drove that 69. Oh well at least I'm driving a mach, right Rodog |
Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
I had one Mustang previous to my current Mach1.. I bought a Tropical Green GT new in 2000 and traded it for a 2002 Suzuka Blue Honda S2000.. The Rice is gone !! :flamedevi

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
Its the first Stang I've owned. In my opinion, MY 03-04 is when the stangs started making great power out of the factory MACH's & COBRAS, so I said wy not pick one up.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
The Mach was the 4th for me! See sig
