Hey! I'm sorry for such a late reply. Went so long without any comments that I stopped checking the thread. Well the shifts are shorter and more "crisp". No rubber to give you that "spongey" feel. I'm only selling cause I switched to an MGW shifter. Didn't really feel much difference between the two, other than handle design though. Let me know if you are still interested?

You'll like it. Mine works just as well today as it did 10 years ago.

After looking at the pic again, I'm not seeing the rubber gasket that is used between the shifter arm and the shifter itself. If it looked anything like mine it was probably pretty worked over. You may want to try and find/make one.

Where the handle bolts to the shifter?

Yes, theres a small rectangular piece of rubber that would normally get sandwiched between the arm/handle and shifter itself. Like in this pic. https://lmr.com/item/ST-5557351K/83-...itt-Shift-Knob

Steeda could probably sell you one for .50 cents.

There also may be the round boot protector washer that is in the pic missing.

What's your preference on handle position?

I never even realized there was a rubber piece between the handle and shifter now. When I ordered it, it didn't have one.
