Mach 1 build your own track car
I remember reading a Mustang magazine when the Mach 1 first came out, and it had an article on building your own Mach 1 - it was just a shell with the unmistakeble shaker hood. I don't think you could drive it on the road because it didn't have air bags and such.
Anyone ever seen this, or know of any that exist? Just curious.. I'll try to dig up a picture. |

They never sold, but I had 14 or so watchers and over 300 views (mainly people like you who were just curious) but it only takes one of those people to buy them...so I left them on a few more times. I still have them in my closet. |

Re: Mach 1 build your own track car
I believe CDC and MRT both did Mach 1 Track cars.
Here is MRT's http://www.mrt-direct.com/1994-2004-mustang.html Here it is before the crash http://image.musclemustangfastfords...._Side_View.jpg The BLUE is the Same one as the YELLOW Mach 1 Racer, after Scott Hoag took a terrible crash (lost brake line at 120MPH), but they rebuilt it! This is it after they rebuilt it. http://www.mach1registry.org/photopo...ach1-racer.JPG |

Re: Mach 1 build your own track car
i'm with you, it would be better to just start with a shell like that and go with it. also i would think it would be the best bang for your buck
i do like how they still used it after they wrecked it, both colors look good ASh |
