Officers down in 2008
Your really dont realize how many fellow officers get killed each year until it gets put in prospective like this.

Re: Officers down in 2008
I hear you. My wife was almost a similar statistic back in Dec of 06. Fortunately, she and her partner survived their ordeal.....and their attacker is now doing 60 yrs without parole at Angola. May he rot in pieces.
Thank you for posting this vid. This is for all the ppl out there who think its a tragedy when someone they know meets their end at the hands of our law enforcement officers. Take a good headcount here, and tell me where the true tragedy is. |

+1 For making it ok. We had a few end their watch in north AL within the past year and a half and one of our deputys got hit by a car before chrismas. Luckily he came out without any serious injurys.

Re: Officers down in 2008
May they all rest in peace, we all take for granted what they do each and every day! I made it through 24 years of service to the public, and lost several fellow brothers and sisters in the line of duty. God Bless Them All!
