Hey Dave, just out of curiosity...what is the advantage of registering at the hotel using the "M1R" code. I got a better rate like HAEG did using the FUN package. I know there are a certain amount of rooms saved just for us. But other than that...???

I am not sure how they did my room
I got a two bedroom 1 king and 2 doubles -

I called the standard rate was going to be like 360 a night
but they said they could not honor the M1R code
for that particular room

I called the next day spoke to Dawn and got the room for 240 a night .........................

for 3 adults Non smoking

So i think they are trying to work with us

1 note:

this hotel is 15 miles away from the fair grounds they dont seem to be totaly booked when we are there and the hotels around dont have allot of "show cars" parked at them

so if you think about it the club staying there we take
25 rooms at a average of 500 bucks a pop for 3 nights

This puts an extra 12 to 15k in there pocket.

So I am SURE they like having us come stay with them every year
They allways seem nice however they all looked a lil shocked when i pulled up to the hotel
got a cold one from my cooler and then walked to the front desk to check in...

Compared to my Mach ,yeah POS .

Heavy turd ! Honestly i think i have driven that car maybe 3 times .

Wife and i several weeks ago on open highway coming off an off ramp .
Passed her with little to no effort and thats with my street tune . Which is still twice the RWHP i must add . My wife has a leadfoot and has not allowed me to mod 1 single item . None . :smack:

Drive my car and drive a stock GT500 , no comparison in stock form .

Ahh, but just a few mods & the Gt500 becomes a much better performer for not much effort...still a great car that does 12.2 out of the box....not too shabby !!:wings:

You got 6-months --- Get'er done, Son. Wouldn't be the same without the 428 CJ leading the way, tagging along, and just feeding the local bears in general, Chris. :3amin:
