Aftermarket H to factory catback

I searched and gave up........

Anyone hook up an aftermarket H to the factory catback? I know the factory pipes are 2.25" right and the aftermarket midpipes are 2.5", so I was wondering what would be needed to make it work.

I have a Mac offroad H coming this week and have Borla ProXS mufflers welded into the factory rear pipes, and just trying to get a head start on the install. I'm not sure what to expect on how the Mac H will connect to the factory rear pipes.

I bolted an MRT H-pipe to my stock Cobra cat-back with no problems. It sounded pretty good, a bit louder than stock but with a good tone and no popping on decelleration.

Well decided to start the install tonight, planning on having the Mac piece delivered tomorrow.

-front of car on rhyno ramps: 2 minutes
-back of car in the air and on jack stands: 5 minutes
-breaking loose factory manifold bolts: 35 minutes LOL!

what a PITA those were, but they're off. Now for the O2 plugs, hahahaa!

Install is done, no problems at the manifolds, however I have a small leak where the new midpipe meets the factory axle pipes. Can't hear it leak over the noise of the mufflers, but still it's there...... otherwise no problems.
