Scam alert!
 

I was trying to purchase a 67 Fastback that was on the "Old cars online" website. When I finally got a reply from a person going by the name of George Sallas, who said he was the owner of "G&G Auto sales and transport" from Burley ID. The car was very clean and price at only $22000, just over half the value. I wanted an address to send an independent car appraiser, but he wanted $$$$ first. I did my research to find that business has been sold a few years ago, and closed. He also has screwed others out of cash. So, please do your research before buying.

If its too good to be true, it probably is - still applies.

There are LOTS of scams like this on Craig's List - terminators, lightnings etc... listed at 1/2 or a 1/4 their value

yeah lots of scammer out there on CL posting truck/car for $1500 ...I wanted to know what the scam was but none of them even responded.

I've seen tons of the $1500 trucking postings on CL. They all show 1 pic of a really nice truck for only $1500. Multiple listings probably from same person. All listed have poor grammar, misspelling words, and only 1 pic of the truck. Obviously fake ads. I don't know why CL doesn't take them down.
