FR500's color change
2 Attachment(s)
My Mach has black 17x9 FR500s and I thought about changing the color of them. White is a color I was thinking of, kind of how they have done Saleen's.
what is yall thought? If I go white or some other color then I will probably spray em with plasti-dip. Here is white cobra with white FR500 Here is another members white mach with white rims. ASh |
Re: FR500's color change
White rims on a white car look really good. You just have to rememeber that YOU have to keep them clean!:MADNOEL::eek::nuts:

You might want to consider looking into pads that don't dust as much. I've been pretty happy with the carbon pads from O'Reillys.

Re: FR500's color change
I thought I wrote about it, but I did consider red also.
I thought a white mach with red would look sweet. Or another thought would be keep the black, but do a pin strip on the hood in red and same with other items, like the rear bumper, do an outline in red in the black inserts and etc. ASh |
Re: FR500's color change
I havent messed with plasti-dip but I feel like Id have my doubts about white wheels coming clean with brake dust baked on
I think the red outline would get too busy quick, sounds good in theory but seems to be hard to execute well |
Re: FR500's color change
The bronze would look good. I know WR has brought that finish out for s550 wheels. not sure there are any for our cars...ill check with Jeff later today. of course LMR has bronze for s197 and up cars as well...
