really digging that Mach manifold. Does the single runner style work really well with the higher forced induction. Havent really found any writeups on this style of modding the manifold.

well...here is the thing. I made over a 35 hp MORE with my last set up once I switched over to that type of intake over a stock one. FOR ME it was well worth it.

Sounds like it was pretty benifical to you. Always interesting to see all the different things people do to mod the stock lower and make it work way better then originally.

wow....it is going for sure. Been collecting parts and working and pretty much changing everything. I have been redoing entire rear end too. 9" outlaw rear end from Team Z...mini tubs, upper and lower new control arm mounts, thru floor frame ties and wolfe cm cage. I need to have chassis done by the fall and everything painted. Then can start reassembly. Mini tubs are MESSY time consuming process.

I will post more pics of progress...

Re: New build

BTW I tack everything in to measure out...if everything is cool I will finish welding rest

Looks like a fun but tedious project. Definitely some big difference in metal thickness there.

what Shock/spring setup are you planning on using? I ask because I trying to decide between coil-overs or the 'stock-like' spring kit from Wolfe.

Re: New build

With mini tub I will be using team z coilover setup with the 9 inch. For springs I do plan on viking

it was 95* degrees over the weekend so i couldnt finish since my garage is without AC..
I am sure some of you guys understand the work that goes into something like this but others may not.

I will try to post a few more photos as i go along too since some of the things are new to me. I have guys like Roy Cole to give advise too since his car was done like mine YEARS ago...

and no it wont go back to stock...haha...

Re: New build

update:
just receiving parts while I am installing 25.5 thru the floor frame ties connectors. New column from motion raceworks, strange quick release and strange double adjustable rear coilovers for the inboard on 9" rear.
Debating on ordering carbon fiber tubs since they will be a center point on my rear end build area.
team z almost done with 9" outlaw rear end and once I get that will start installing and measuring out everything.
Will post pics again as I go. I need to have my chassis done by August/ September so I can paint before it gets to cold.
Then the process of installing brake lines, electrical and motor back in car...

thru the floor frame ties completed and starting new cage install. 2x2 main frame rail with 3x2 outriggers. I will only tack in the outriggers...then tack in the new cage. ROY will be coming over to help me with final TIG of the cage but coming along good

tacked in main hoop to get a feel on how everything will lay out. So far it fits TIGHT and everything looks good. I just laid the forward bars in and rest the passenger door bar to ensure everything is good. This should work out well.
