Shaved rear bumper pictures..

Compliments of my new Casio Exilim EX-Z80. Please dont mind the crappy paintwork. I just turned 20 and this was my first attempt in painting.. I also painted the black on trunk.

Thanks. Like I said, this was my first attempt at paintwork...so it could look better. The only reason I did it was because I kind-of backed into a vacuum thing at the carwash a few months back and the Borla hanger decided to peek out of the back bumper..lol. So, instead of a new cover right now, I decided to plastic-weld the hole back up and bondo it smooth. Turned out decent.

So what did you use to paint it and where?

that looks good bud..from the pics the paint looks fine..but adjust those exhaust tips, not too good for the paint and bumper for them to be touching it (looks close)

Actually, I did it in my yard. A good friend of mine does mobile repairs...he goes to dealerships and does touch up work/ fixes dents and such out of an enclosed trailer.

Its there.
When I bought the car, it had an American Flag pony in it. I didn't like it, so I bought some hammered black spray paint and hit it with a few coats.

I ran it empty for a while...and one day, I found the old Pony so I decided what the heck I'll try it. Turned out pretty good I thought..

I wonder if you got the thick Stainless steel inserts and placed them on there in the correct position and spacing as the molded letters if you would really be able to tell?

Hey, you did good for a first time! Most guys wouldn't have the nads to even try. i painted cars and trucks outside when I was young, now they would lock your azz up for that. Im the reason for Globle warming.

He actually does it every day, and makes a good bit of money doing it. On dealership lots, too.

The letters would prop. stick out too far on the smooth bumper...
