And USC falls!!! Go Huskies!

So, let's see...we beat Washington...Washington beats USC...therefore...:claus:

But I gotta say, Florida didn't look like someone we can't hand a beat down to in a few weeks.

Nittany Lions are 3-0 now...granted they haven't played anyone tough yet, but they won easily today with 15+ members of the team with flu symptoms all week.

BYU gets clocked by Fla. State! What a coll. football weekend. The Ga./Ark. game has been well worth watching, and Texas seems to have its hands full with TT.

#6 on the GATORS almost blew it for them. Tenn. almost got back in it, because of a silly call! And is the dynasty of the Miami Hurricanes on a comeback?

I didn't agree with the unsportsman like call or the intentional grounding call in that game. Actually I agree with the grounding call, but UT did the EXACT same thing in the same quarter and didn't get called. But the game should never have been so close to begin with. Tennessee played great, I think that game Saturday was their Super Bowl.

And I thought the Ole Miss loss to SC Thursday night was ugly...man that LSU game stunk up the stadium, the TV, the radio...everything! Yeah, we won, but we didn't deserve it...of course Miss. State tried to lose harder than we did, and succeeded.

Penn State's QB sucks!! He turns the ball over way too many times and for no reason ... that pick he just threw, WTH??? He gets barely hit and fumbles.....arrgghhh!!! Gonna lose to Iowa again ...arrgghhh!!!

Penn falls. ND almost did, but managed to pull it out.
I hate to see Tebow leave out on a stretcher, hope the best for him.

Thanks. Florida has a bye, so he has an extra week to get well. My concerns for him (and any other player) go way beyond the football field, if he never played another down it would be ok as long as he is all right.

I think he need to take at least two weeks off...

Penn State didn't look very good last night. Definitely didn't play like a top 10 team. Defense did it's job quite well (old bend but don't break philosophy) but it's hard to win when your offense is stagnant and coughing up the ball...:eyes:

Wow. Don't another heart stopper like that one again, although I suspect LSUs game againt Florida will be a tight one. Gerogia played its heart out tonight and played to win. What a wild last two minutes of football!

Unimpressive, wasn't it?!!?

It's easy to lose when you have more defensive off sides penalties than you do points.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

I had to tease you a little. Both offenses did not play particularly well, both defenses play rather well, but I think Florida's was a bit better. Florida's special teams usually provide them with a little something came up empty.

I disagreed with going for it on fourth down when you can get three easy points early in a game and not going for a short fourth down later when the game was on the line.

All in all Florida was fortunate to walk away with a win.
