Very impressed with Tebow. Congrats to all the Gators. Ya'll have a lot to be proud of and there should be more individuals like him in sports. Not trying to get carried away but could he be only the second person in history to win it twice????

I am in complete agreement with your thoughts on next years Heisman winner. Tebow and Florida will be a tough contestant next year, and I do not look forward to playing them.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

I can see them in the NC game next season, since all those Sophmores and Freshmen will have some experience. The defense alone has come a LONG way this season. Holding FSU to only feildgoals is pretty impressive since they shredded #2 BC the prior week. We dont need to discuss the Offense, do we?:)

Archie Griffin won it twice in 1974 and 1975. He says he has absolutely no intentions of leaving school early, so who knows.

He will only become a better passer. So he will throw like Hawaii boy and run like, well Tebow.:3amin:

Any Arkansas fans on this board. What do you think about your new head coach?? For Lsu fans, anything being said about the Michigan job? Its all over our local sportstalk radio that good chance he may still take the job in Michigan when it is all said and done with.

Not an AK fan, but still floored at the defection of the Falcons coach to take that position. (Just because you lose to the Saints doesn't mean you have to leave!)
There's still some uneasyness about Miles and his future at LSU. WE all know what he's said, but it has been very well scripted. It has left many doors open if you read between the lines...and that line could lead straight to Michigan...

What makes me think that he is gonna go is the speed (lack there of) or any sense of urgency that Michigan has to sign a new coach. Heck, look at the Arkansas deal and how fast they moved. Duke is interviewing lots (including TN offensive coord. Cutcliff). I would think that now is an important time to recruit, given that Ohio State is having a pretty good year with commitments.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

I know he was here the week before the SEC Championship game, as was Spurrier. It sounds like we're back to where we were the morning of that game...with no real idea of what the future holds. I can tell you that if the LSU board were to hire 'Saint' Nick back, there would be a LOT of empty seats in Tiger stadium for a looooong time...

They'd take him back. Im sitting back rooting for Miles to leave just to hear the LSU fans cry about that.

We're still waiting for Bama to win a decent game (they might be able to beat Notre Dame this year)...and how in the heck did they manage a bowl...after losing to UL-Monroe???
And where is that stadium located? TuscaLOSER ?

I think people get to worked up over coaching changes. Look at Petrino (spelling?), its all about the money these days.

That explains the box of clothes detergent I saw at the store tonight: It was "New Tide...now with less talent"...and the price increase of $3mil.

How about the team LSU lost to? I think they played LSU close this year also. Im realistic enough to know that a coach cant overcome mediocre players and no depth. I was thinking 7 wins going in this year and yes Monroe was one of the ones I was counting...lol

People/staff at ATL have every right to be "worked up" over that loser who cant even complete one season. He didnt even have the balls to address his team personally. He left a note in their lockers. He screwed over a lot of staff/family that followed him to ATL. He jumps ship and goes to ARK. He should have just stayed at louisville where he could win consistently in the big east. Would not trust this guy for a second. He worked a couple years to get a long term deal at UL, then leaves for NFL, now at ARK.
